Northport/E. Northport Community
Drug & Alcohol Task Force
The E. Northport Rotary Club is proud to support the Drug and Alcohol Task Force, focusing on raising awareness and providing support for both youth and adults affected by substance abuse. Through volunteer efforts, we work to educate, prevent, and help create a safer, healthier community for all. Join us in helping to make a positive impact, especially for our youth.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

As a youth leadership program, RYLA unites high school students from various backgrounds. These emerging leaders share the goal of addressing real-life issues through community projects. RYLA equips them with the skills needed to become tomorrow’s leaders, instilling the core value of "Service Above Self."
Scholarships

High school seniors from both Northport and Harborfields schools who meet the eligibility criteria are considered for this annual award. This scholarship is specifically designed to recognize and support students who have shown a deep and consistent commitment to their community. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate a significant record of community involvement and dedication, reflecting their active engagement in making a positive impact in their local area.
Academy of Finance

The Academy of Finance (AOF) prepares students for careers in business, focusing on finance, accounting, marketing, and management. Partnering with the National Academy Foundation (NAF) and the Rotary Club, AOF offers valuable experiences such as job shadow days, field trips, guest speakers, and paid internships.
Students apply as 9th graders and begin in the 10th grade, developing essential skills for future business leadership. The Rotary Club enhances this program by facilitating mock interviews, further boosting students' readiness for the workforce.
